Flatten forms and comments without disturbing ordinary text, merge only the currently visible PDF layers, or render every page into a fixed image. All three modes run locally in your browser and use the same download, share, and edit-further screen as the other tools.
When to use it
Use form flattening after completing an application, layer flattening to lock a chosen document view, or full rasterization when the final copy must display consistently and resist ordinary editing or copy-paste.
What it will not do
Keep the original: flattening is intentionally hard to reverse. Uncommon annotations without a usable appearance stream are preserved and reported instead of silently removed. Full rasterization removes search, selection, accessibility text, and vector sharpness, and may substantially increase file size.
