What this is
PDF Tool PH is a set of free PDF tools for merging, splitting, compressing, converting, rotating, watermarking, editing, and summarizing. There is no account or install. Most tools run entirely in your browser; AI Summarizer clearly asks before sending extracted text to an AI service.
Why it was built
Most free PDF sites ask you to upload every file before doing anything. Here, editing and conversion stay on your device. The optional AI Summarizer is transparent about its different requirement: only extracted text is sent, never the PDF file.
How it works
Your browser can already read and write PDF files. The local tools use that: a document is opened in the page, changed in memory, and saved back to your downloads folder. AI Summarizer adds a protected server request because an API secret cannot safely live in browser code.
What it cannot do
Running on your device sets real limits, and they are written down rather than hidden. Compression rewrites file structure and cannot shrink a scan much. Edited text keeps the document’s own font, but a character that font lacks falls back to a similar one. OCR reads printed text well and handwriting poorly. A very large document is bounded by your device’s memory. Each tool’s guide says plainly where it stops.
Supporting the project
There is no account here and nothing is locked behind a payment, so there is nothing to subscribe to. What the site does have is a domain to renew and the hours that go into each tool. If it has been useful, a one-off tip covers a little of that. It is entirely optional — every tool works exactly the same either way.
