The short answer
No PDF file is ever uploaded to us. Opening, editing and saving all happen inside your browser.
Your files
The PDFs and images you open here are read by your browser and stay on your device. No copy is sent to any server — this site has no upload endpoint for document contents.
When you press Save in the editor, the document is stored in your browser’s IndexedDB — still on your device. It is erased if you clear site data, and it does not travel to another device or another browser.
Settings
Your chosen theme (light or dark) and language are kept in localStorage. Neither identifies a person, and neither leaves your device.
Analytics and ads
There is currently no analytics and no advertising script running on this site. If either is ever added, it will be stated here before it goes live — and it still could not reach the contents of your files, because those never leave your browser.
Hosting
This is a static site. Like any web server, the hosting provider may keep access logs (IP address, time, and which page was requested) for security and operations. No document contents appear in those logs.
